Whilst Concept Yachts were based in the UAE, we were commissioned by a confidential client to setup a state-of-the-art e-manufacturing facility to accommodate the construction of 15 x 15 metre, high speed, Carbon Fibre, anti-piracy, interceptor patrol boats.
These gun mounted vessels were designed to be extremely high speed (70 knots), light weigh for manoeuvrability. Concept Yachts supplied the build team and the knowhow to this project.
We were involved in: – construction – Fitout – Upholstery – Electrical – Engineering – Finishing and Paint We successfully built 15 vessels, including one centre console leisure version. Characteristics (approximate) – Length Overall :15.50 m – Beam Overall :3.00 m – Speed Overall :50+ Main Equipment & Auxiliaries – Two diesel engines – One surface drive system (two propellers) At sea trials, these vessels reached speeds of over 70 knots
